Gary T. Ludwig Pastor My three sisters and I grew up in Kenmore, New York. My father was a school principal and my mother a homemaker. Our family was very
active at our church, so school, Boy Scouts, sports and church activities filled my life. During my youth, I felt a stirring within me, directing me toward pastoral ministry. Encouraged by my
pastor I enrolled at Gordon College in the fall of 1971. I majored in Philosophy in preparation for attending seminary. After completing my BA at Gordon, I enrolled at Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary, graduating in 1983. I was then hired as Minister of Christian Education, an associate pastoral position, at the First Baptist Church of Abington, MA. I was
called to the pastorate and ordained at the First Baptist Church of Hingham in 1987. When a sophomore at Gordon I met Deborah Goldie; we were married in 1976. Our daughter, Kendra, was born in
1984. Our second daughter, Andria, was born in 1989. Through all of the events of my life, I have had an inner sense of God’s calling and direction in
my ministry. God’s spirit in the midst of different church communities has sustained my calling, and guided me through various ministries and many years of service in the kingdom. |
