Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what
God wants for you because God has given you a special gift. -- Romans 12:2-3
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who
seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7: 7-8
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

Our church office is in the Gilman House, which is located to the right of the church. All administrative tasks are taken care of here, as well as many
meetings and classes.
After you leave Gilman House, walk around to the front of the church. You'll see the graceful arched windows and enter the double front doors of the church.
On Sunday morning, as you reach the top of the stairs, you'll find George Bartlett on the top step ringing our historic steeple bell, calling all to worship.
As you enter the Sanctuary, pick up your Sunday bulletin from one of our ushers. We have hearing assisted devices available. In the front of the
sanctuary the pulpit is to the left and the choir loft is on the right. Denise Rachel, our church musician, rehearses with part of the choir in the photograph to the right above.
Pastor Ludwig (below) believes in "making a joyful noise to the Lord," adding variety to the worship service by often accompanying hymns with his
guitar. A wide variety of ages and instruments are used to enhance the worship experience.
The first Sunday of each month is Communion Sunday. We use the Church's historic communion table (above) for the celebration of the Lord's Supper.
Our "helping hands" food pantry is located in the back of the Sanctuary. First Baptist friends and families donate nonperishable food items
that are later delivered to two food pantries in our area for distribution to those in need.
After a service, go down the stairs (above, in front of the front door) into Memorial Hall for coffee or tea, homemade pastries, and conversation.
Some of our Junior Church classes for children are also held here (photo at upper right). There is an electric lift installed to assist mobility, gaining access from the lower level parking to the
upper sanctuary for services (photo at right).
And we hope you'll notice that there's always a glow in our windows, even when it snows!
