Outreach to

International Ministry

____________________________________________________________

The world is full of problems and challenges that feel overwhelming. But God is working to save and renew our world.  His saving, renewing work moves through all of us and it is called missions.

The First Baptist Church is also dedicated to helping those in need throughout the world.  We glorify God in all the earth by crossing cultural boundaries in times of need. The following are examples.

Mission Honduras
Wycliffe Bible Translators
America Leprosy Missions
World Missions

Wycliffe Bible Translators   www.wycliffe.org/

America Leprosy Missions
Founded in 1906, American Leprosy Missions (ALM) provides care to people around the world with leprosy, Buruli ulcers, and related disabilities. ALM is a non-denominational Christian ministry in approximately 15 countries.

World Missions
First Baptist Church collects a special annual offering specifically supporting international missions (which includes Honduras). Focus is on ministries in developing nations.

Mission Honduras
An exciting, new, ground-floor initiative is being uncovered in Honduras -- a venture which will build children, churches, schools, and leaders in a city named Danli.  There is also outreach into surrounding cities, towns, and villages. There is more information through the links below, as well as fascinating photos of actual mission tours.
