Our goal is to function as a family of God. By
faith, it is our goal to be an authentic Christian community that seeks to be united by Jesus' command found in John 13:34:
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so
you must love one another." While striving to live out this new command, it is the Holy Spirit that empowers our lives and the life of the church.
As Pastor, I believe there are three components that make up a healthy church, each being lifelong, participatory and interactive. 1) Worship:
“make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” 2) Education: learning of God and discovering God’s will for our lives. 3) Service: Each of us, as
uniquely spiritually gifted members of God’s family, can serve others within our church, families, and communities.
There are differing levels of participation, reflected by an individual's life cycle and spiritual journey. There are core leaders who are involved
in many aspects of church life, committed members who support the programs and services of the church, and there are seekers who are
actively looking to discover faith and service. Our church embraces all people. We seek to nourish and sustain one another so that each one of
us knows God’s love, for it is God who loved us enough ” that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but
have eternal life." John 3:16.
